February is going to be a slow month in terms of travel and learning, which makes it the perfect month to focus on my creator goals and actions. Is slowing down in Bir, Himachal Pradesh, going to be what finally allows me and inspires me to achieve the milestones I have set for myself as a creator?
I’m excited to find out!
February 1, Saturday
We are starting the month with good news – a property in Bir accepted our pitch to host us for two weeks in exchange for creating content around the place! Thanks to the last couple of days of intense DMing to stay in Bir even though it made my gut twist.
I also wrapped up the Creator Diary blog for January and posted it. Even though we are technically two days late for the newsletter, I wrote and sent one today – Not quite here, not quite there: The awkward in-between.
Glorious start for the month!
February 2, Sunday
A couple more properties responded! This is amazing! I’m hoping to collaborate with them towards the end of March, but it might be tough considering it’s the peak season. Either way, this is such a confidence boost considering I haven’t grown much in followers.
February 4, Tuesday
I penned down the next blog for the month while I was on the train from Chennai to Delhi.
February 5, Wednesday
Reached Delhi this morning and I was determined to share a reel today! And I decided to go with the 3rd reel on Kalaripayattu – The healing aspect of Kalaripayattu. It got a really good reach!
February 6, Thursday
Newsletter day! I just reached Bir this morning, and I wanted to write, but I didn’t know what to write. Here’s what came out of it – Bir, breezes and big plans.

February 7, Friday
Kalari Village accepted the collaboration request today on the reel about the healing aspect of Kalaripayattu. It had already crossed 7k views before the collaboration, and now I’m expecting it to hit at least 20K, which would be my highest reach on reels.
I posted a picture of my 180-degree kick today that I’m really really proud of.
February 8, Saturday
Started a new series today – the Slow Down Bucket List. For the first part, I have always wanted to read a book through a sunset… so that’s what I shot and posted as a reel.
That makes it 3 posts this week – 2 reels and a static. Successfully hit this week’s target!
And for the first time ever, my dashboard showed this number –

February 10, Monday
Work day!
February 11, Tuesday
A beautiful day out.
February 12, Wednesday
Published a blog today that was due last week!! Still struggling to get consistent and on time with my blog pieces. I kind of back-dated it to 8th February because I want to be posting once every week – what logic? I don’t know.
It was an important piece of this journey though – Three Months of Kalari: A Journey of Movement and Mindset.
I also shared a long pending reel on City Premium.
February 13, Thursday
Feb 11th was such a beautiful day, and I had to write about it in this week’s newsletter- Some days, the universe winks at you. This was such a heartfelt piece, and writing it made me so happy.
I also shared a reel today. Part two of the Slow Down Bucket List – A morning of painting. I think it came out really cute and colourful.
February 14, Friday
Shared a Valentine’s Day special cliche post on self-love on Instagram… because I wanted to!
February 15, Saturday
Posted a blog today, which was actually a slightly edited version of what I shared in this week’s Newsletter because I felt like it should be here: Some Days, Travel Feels Like a Love Letter from the Universe
February 18, Tuesday
What was supposed to be a very chill work-from-cafe day turned out to be a tedious day of downloading videos! I had my reel to make and a couple of videos for my client. Maybe it was the internet in the cafe – the download process took soooo long. I got very annoyed. But somehow, I got everything done.
I really love how the reel came out today – How I ended up managing a homestay and pet-sitting for the first time!
February 19, Wednesday
As today was the last full day at the homestay, I ended up filming a quite a bit for the next couple of reels for the Slow Down Bucket List series. But that’s all I could do.
February 20, Thursday
It’s newsletter day!
I didn’t think I would have time to write it today as I was shifting from the homestay to Deer Park Institute. But thanks to bad weather that kept me from leaving the homestay, I ended up writing it and sending it right away. This one was a bit intense and was influenced by the book Tuesdays With Morrie because I just finished reading it yesterday – Lonely in Joy. Why is it different?

February 21 to 24, Mindful Storytelling Workshop
This is why Bir, Himachal Pradesh, became a stop on my journey—to attend a long-awaited workshop. One led by my inspiration in the creator world, Shivya Nath, and a dear friend and incredible writer, Rishabh Khaneja.
The workshop focused on mindful storytelling—how to find stories and tell them with intention. And with that, I step into the second chapter of New Roads, New Skills—a soft, unstructured phase dedicated to exploring art in its many forms—writing, photography, painting, and whatever else sparks my curiosity.
While I wrote multiple stories through the workshop, I had very little time to create stories for my channels in this time as I was also meeting and having amazing conversations with the people from the workshop.
I still managed to share a simple post about slowing down in the mountains amidst this.
February 25, Tuesday
It’s been quite challenging to create amidst all the interesting conversations and connections. Today, everyone left to go sightseeing, and I used that time to spend some time on freelance work and my content. I posted a reel – Slow Down Bucket List #3 – A very slow morning. But honestly, I wasn’t very happy about it.
Today, I ended up meeting one of the property owners who had responded to collaboration on the streets of Bir by chance. We had a really nice conversation, and he invited me over for lunch to discuss the collaboration. It was a very re-affirming moment for me as it felt like needles are starting to move after months of effort.
February 27, Thursday
I put out two pieces today… first was a carousel on the Mindful Storytelling workshop experience.
Then, of course, because it’s Thursday – a newsletter. No new ideas or topics came to me, probably because I have been yapping non-stop for the past week, leaving close to no time to reflect. So, I chose to finish a draft that was long pending and somehow, today was the perfect day for it because I have been talking and thinking about that topic: Does the heart really want what it wants?
Today was a good day for the creator me!
February 28, Friday
Monthly Reflection of a Creator
In a way, slowing down did help me get closer to my creator goals than ever before. I ended up posting 11 pieces (the target was 12) on Instagram. Shared 5 newsletters when the target was 4. I managed to publish 3 out of the 4 blogs I had planned for this month!
I don’t know if it’s the consistency paying off or not; even the numbers have been very kind to me this month.
Probably the best month so far. After a successful collaboration, I’m feeling validated as a creator, and the willingness of others to collaborate with me has been great motivation for me to keep going. I’m feeling good! This might happen after all!
